I first worked on this theme a few years ago, creating a slightly smaller painting of « Raspberries ». It’s a subject I have found fascinating, the light bursting through in all its glory while the young woman reaches for the fruit amongst the green.

I then worked on this painting, slightly bigger and more complete in it’s expression, the colors rich and painted with both knife and brush.
